Description

The Splinter Pattern camouflage Smock, or Tarnhemd, was developed in 1942. The camouflage pattern is Heeres-Splittermuster 31, developed before the war and used on the Zeltbahn tent/poncho. This pattern of camouflage became widespread on many pieces of Army clothing.
