German SS Infantry-NCO (Rottenfuhrer )-Full Combat Uniform (1942-1945)

Description

This uniform is typical for he period of fighting in Normandy 1944. The Summer issue Reed Green Denim uniform has been in service for many years and indeed the example we show here has had many years of front line wear. The Rank badges denote the wearer as a Rottenfuhrer which is the equivelent of a senior Lance Corporal. The basic field equipment is being carried plus the magazine pouches for the MP40 machine pistol. The camouflage pattern printed on the cloth cover for the helmet is specific to SS troops, as is the pattern of camouflage on the Zeltbahn which is rolled and strapped to the assault frame.
