German Army Splinter Pattern Camouflage-White Reversible Jacket 1943-1945
Description
The reversable winter Parka was developed as a direct result of the German Army having to fight in the extreme cold of Eastern Europe and Russia. The camouflage pattern known as ‘Splinter Pattern’ was associated only with Army Combat clothing. Here it is also used on the Cotton M43 Cap. The Parka is White when fully reversed. There is a thick pile lining which made this garment far more effective than a Greatcoat.
