15C- Man-At-Arms- War of the Roses-Metal Armour-06

This is an example of one of the many sets of costume that we can construct from our War of the Roses Collection. It is a Man-at-Arms dressed for battle. The costume is distressed to show previous front rank use. This is soldier is armed with a Bill, sword and dagger.

The armour is all steel reproduction. Visored Sallet (Helmet), Gorget (neck guard), Pouldrons (Shoulder protection), Mitten Gauntlets and Cuisse’s (leg Armour) and Poleyn (Knee Guards).

The damage to this soldiers padded Gambeson reveals a ring mail lining.
